Pulp: a magazine or book printed on
low-quality paper and often containing shocking material.
Like this starts one of my favourite movies. It’s not just because the
magnificent Bruce Willis takes a rol here, or because Samuel L. Jackson talks
like a street nigga, no. It’s because
it has Tarantino’s signature.
The film is about three different stories, which end up in the same
point, crossing between themselves. There is a mafia squad, a boxer who owes
money to the mafia and a couple who starts a robbery. In my opinion the way
this film turns stupid but stills funny is brilliant. You can see the version
of American History but with the nazi being Mr. L. Jackson kicking white’s
people asses. I don’t know, for me it’s a film needed to see at least once in a
life, and you will probably end up loving it, or hating it.
