Can we understand everything?

Well, I’ve been thinking a lot about this, and there are some ideas that maybe we will never understand. And I’m not talking about quantum physics, just some casual things that have been incorporate to our society and we can’t understand at all.

For example, I think that more or less I can understand homosexuality (for me it’s just like prefer brunettes rather than blondes) but what about transsexuality? That’s a lot deeper, you aren’t on the body you think you belong to.

My uncle said to me once, there are some things made to be understood, and some others to be respected. Of course, I respect everything which doesn’t affect me (transsexuality, homosexuality, some religions…) but I just would know how hard is to be in another body. Or maybe I wouldn’t endure it. I suppose curiosity killed the cat…
